In this study, the results were analysed using exploratory research design: taking into consideration vocational courses, 3D CAD programs and gender criteria, the students were divided into three groups of 20 people (medium, good and expert) using proportional stratified (stratified) sampling. During the research, primarily the candidates modelled parts by using SolidWorks software according to three different difficulty levels and their drawing times were recorded. Afterwards, the drawn parts were requested to be downloaded from the online CAD library and offline CAD library, which contains many pre-drawn parts. At final stage, the change of the drawing completion time based on the courses, the gender and the design programs were determined by Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann Whitney U test. It was determined that the drawing completion time was related to the number of courses taken and known design programs, and the drawing completion time of students with advanced engineering skills developed similarly. It has been observed that vocational courses were effective on the perception of parts with different geometries and planning the next step in design. When the data were examined in terms of gender, it was found that there was no significant difference between the drawing completion time of male and female students, and that the drawing completion times were similar between students with the same engineering knowledge.trCAD library, engineering, engineering students, design, drawing completion time, CAD softwareMühendislik Öğrencilerinin Teknik Çizim Sürelerinin Farklılaşmasına Sebep Olan Faktörler Üzerine Keşifsel Bir AraştırmaAn Exploratory Research on the Factors that Cause Engineering Students' Technical Drawing Times to DifferArticle
