dc.descriptionWar, as a destructive phenomenon for all forms of existence, harms human beings, inanimate subjects, plants and animals. However, this phenomenon causes severe harm to both the perpetrator and the victim of the war, in terms of both physical and mental health. Women, children and the elderly get hurt the most; among these three groups, especially the women who suffered rape, as they are punished by those who are considered enemies during the war and then by the society they belong to, are the subject of this study. As a result of the study, it was realized that rape, which was perceived as an individual act, has collective factors and consequences. These factors include the concept of chastity indexed to women, a nationalist discourse that emphasizes what is considered feminine by the society, gender injustice stemming from patriarchal society as well as non-definitive and non-deterrent criminal sanctions. The existence of all these factors, which are not independent of the hegemonic masculinity culture, leads to the continuation of the phenomenon of war rape. This requires that the problem been solved with an international advocacy and implementation by being drawn into the field of social work.tr_TR
dc.description.abstractSavaş, varlığın bütün hâllerine zarar veren yıkıcı bir olgu olarak insanı, cansız maddeleri, bitki ve hayvanları yaralamaktadır. Ancak bu olgu, savaşın zarar vereni ve göreni olan insana hem beden hem de ruh sağlığı açısından ağır zararlar vermektedir. Zarar gören insanlar içinde kadınlar, çocuklar ve yaşlılar başı çekmekte olup bu üç kesim içinde özellikle tecavüze maruz bırakılan kadınlar; savaş sırasında düşman addedilenlerce, sonrasında ise mensubu olduğu toplumca cezalandırılmaları münasebetiyle bu çalışmanın konusunu teşkil etmektedir. Çalışma neticesinde bireysel bir eylemmiş gibi algılanan tecavüzün, kolektif etmenleri ve sonuçları olduğu görülmüştür. Kadına endekslenen namus anlayışı, toplumca dişil olarak nitelendirilen öğelere vurgu yapan milliyetçi söylem, ataerkil toplum yapısından kaynaklanan toplumsal cinsiyet adaletsizliği ile kesin ve caydırıcı olmayan yaptırımlar söz konusu etmenler içinde yer almaktadır. Hegemonik erkeklik kültüründen bağımsız olmayan bu etmenlerin varlığı, savaş tecavüzü olgusunun devamlılığına yol açmakta ve sorunun sosyal çalışma alanına çekilerek uluslararası bir savunuculuk ve uygulama ile çözüme kavuşturulmasını gerektirmektedir.tr_TR
