    دولة السياسة عند ابن خلدون

    Abstract: Generally, when the concept of the “political state” is mentioned, the common understanding is connected with the modern state-nation. However, the concept of state is much broader than we think because there is a theoretical agreement on distinguishing between the theoretical global understanding of the state and the actual state-nation. There is an enormous distinction between the Asabiyya (social cohesion) state-nation and the general global understanding of the religious state. In this research, the aim is to reveal academic evidence in order to understand the past and the future of the state. For the establishment of the modern state theory as a developmental and transformable new thought, that should be based on the nation’s experiences and traditions, at the same time using the historical hypothesis as a remark for deduction and establishing principles for success, strength, justice, and historical continuance. Islam has drawn a broad picture of the state, where the general system is inconsistent with the Ummah’s doctrine and tradition and flexible for acceptance, strength, and differences scale. In this system, where’s the religion for God and people are equals and have justice and good life. Therefore, Ibn Khaldun created the political power circle/ circle of justices and determined the paths, forms, and conditions of the state. The world is a garden, and the fence of it is the state The state is the rule, and through it, the Sunni are kept alive The Sunni are a way of ruling, which is implemented by the sovereign The sovereign is a shepherd, and the army help him The army is the helper, and the money provided to them Money is livelihood, that the flock gather The flock are slaves, devoted to the service of justice Justice is a norm, and it is alive in the world
